One of the Best Indian Restaurants in Almaty! We had been craving Indian food since arriving in the city, and this place truly delivered. Whether you're Indian or not, you should definitely try the food here — especially the mutton biryani, which was absolutely delicious. The host was warm and friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable. The vibe of the restaurant is cozy and inviting, with romantic songs playing in the background, adding a lovely touch to the atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Had a chance to visit this Restaurant yesterday for dinner. I must say it was a Fantastic Dining experience. The Food was good and delicious, the portions were satisfactory and everything was fresh. The Ambience is clean and comfortable and than the special mentions for PAYAL & SHIVA for their wonderful customer service. They were so polite and professional and kept checking for everything even tho we stayed a Lil over closing time. This restaurant is a MUST TRY if you're visiting ALMATY and looking for a fine Indian food with a nice atmosphere for Dining. Keep up the good work.

The food is great. Chicken tikka masala was not too spicy .... Moderately spiced. Tandoori roti made of aata was amazing. Had good time. Ambience and staff was very generous and kind. Best wishes

Amazing Experience! I had an incredible birthday celebration at Dawat! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel so welcome with their friendly and warm service. The food was absolutely delicious—every dish was packed with flavor and beautifully presented. The best part? They surprised me with a special birthday arrangement at the table, making an afternoon even more memorable. Highly recommend this place for great food and an unforgettable experience!

The food and service were truly exceptional. The butter chicken and naan combination hit the right notes..something i felt deserving after cycling up to Almaty lake. The briyani certainly warrants its own commendation..it was flavourful, the rice was cooked to perfection. If youre someone who can't survive without some curry and spice, Dawat is the place to be.

What a find! Dawat is truly a saviour for Indians and vegetarian travellers craving authentic, flavorful food. From the first bite to the last, the experience was pure joy. The dishes burst with taste and freshness — especially the Veg Biryani, Fried Rice, and Lassi, which were absolute standouts. Each member makes you feel most Welcome! Food Suggestions - Veg Biryani, Fried Rice and Lassi are the best Ambience - Very neat, cozy and b'ful place to spend time with family Pricing - We went in Nov 25, and for 3 people damage was in the range of 5k-7k tenge with full tummy People - The best, Helped us out, guided us and were welcoming everytime
